Banking software you can check.
Truss started as a service that checks Nigerian bank transfers against the settlement record. It now also covers the ledger, savings and loan accounts, the overnight batch, the audit trail and the customer apps. Each product works on its own. All three record money the same way.
Pick one, or run all three.
Reliability runs alongside any core banking system, including ones we didn’t build. Core Banking and the apps are designed to work together.
Truss Reliability Control Plane
Checks every transfer against the NIBSS settlement record and flags the ones that didn’t go through.
- Finds false successes, stuck transfers, duplicates and unreversed debits
- Shows your record and the settlement record side by side
- Suggests retries and reversals for your bank to action
Truss Core Banking
General ledger, savings and current accounts, and loans, with the balancing rules enforced by the database.
- Every posting balances or is refused
- Loan classification run each night
- Overnight batch and a tamper-evident audit log
Truss Mobile & portals
iOS and Android apps, plus web portals for customers and staff.
- Transfers show their actual status
- Loans, cards, bills, statements and disputes
- Device checks and biometric sign-in
One transfer, start to finish.
A customer sends ₦25,000 from the app. This is what each part of Truss does with it.
Simplified flow with example figures.
Three ways in.
Reliability only
Keep your current core banking. Truss reads your transaction records and settlement files and reports what it finds. Your payment flow doesn’t change.
Apps and portals
Customer apps and a staff back office on the Truss APIs, with two-person approval built in.
The full stack
Ledger, accounts, loans, overnight batch, audit log and apps, with Reliability checking each transfer.
Rules every product follows.
Exact amounts
Money is stored as fixed-point decimals with its currency. Floating-point maths is blocked by a lint rule.
Nothing is overwritten
Financial records are never edited. A mistake is corrected with a new entry, so the history stays visible.
Each bank’s data kept apart
Row-level security keeps one institution’s records away from another’s, and the build tests it every time.
Tested on real databases
Property-based tests run thousands of event sequences against real Postgres, looking for one that breaks a rule.
See it with your own data.
We’ll take your team through the ledger, the apps and Reliability, and show what Reliability finds in a sample of your transactions.
